Overview

Edrington, Scotland's premier producer and distributor of global spirits brands and their consultants Allan Associates appointed JBD Tritec to undertake the mechanical installation for 'Project Solera'.

The primary objective for this project was for the separation of high volume products from smaller volume orders, eliminate bottle necks from the system and to further enhance compliance with industry standards.

• Vat Room
• Installation of valve blocks.
• Installation of 3no spirit heat exchangers.
• Ingress and installation of 4no 8m³ spirit vessels.
• Supply and installation of high level walkway around vessels.
• All associated stainless steel pipework and supports.
• Filtration
• Installation of filter heat exchanger.
• Fabrication and supply of glycol tank and pump set.
• All associated stainless steel pipework and supports.
• Tank Farm
• Supply and installation of 3no spirit vessels (25,000 litre), constructed on site.
• Installation of 2no spirit pumps and associated stainless steel pipework.
