Our company recognises that Quality is an integral part of its management function, to provide a service and products that are fit for intended purpose, in line with client requirements.


By appointment of the Project Client, we shall plan, review, manage and monitor to ensure the co-operation and co-ordination of all parties on site, we will identify the hazards and ensure that the risks are properly controlled, thus achieving a successful project.

When working as a Principal Contractor on a CDM worksite, we offer: -

  • Preparation and implementation of project specific Health & Safety plans.
  • Review of subcontractor insurances, policies, competence, and project specific documentation.
  • Supply and maintenance of site office and welfare facilities.
  • Competent site supervision to monitor, audit and manage site activities, liaising with the client and Principal Designer on any issues or concerns.
  • Communicate with subcontractors on Health & Safety matters.
  • Implementation of comprehensive permit to work systems within the CDM site.
  • Implementation of site control procedures i.e. project/ site specific inductions.
  • Chair project Health & Safety meetings as required.
  • Enforce safe working practices throughout the project to reduce the risk of injury or loss, as far as reasonably practical.
  • Maintenance of project Health & Safety documentation for reference and review.
  • Compilation and submission of project O & M manuals.

CDM Regulations

JBD Tritec has gained extensive experience throughout the United Kingdom both as Principal Contractor and also working as a designated sub-contractor to the requirements of the CDM regulations.

We develop risk assessments from the information supplied to us at the tender stage and devise contract specific method statements to ensure that we minimise and control risks where they cannot be entirely eliminated.

By implementing and registering these management systems we seek to achieve high standards. Our aim is simply not to comply with current legislation, which we regard as a minimum requirement, but in order to demonstrate continual improvements for the health, safety and welfare of our staff.

Our Quality Management System is fully certified to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Standard (Certificate 6203). This reflects and represents the standard of our work, and our dedicated Quality Manager ensures that there are always objectives for continuous improvement.
