Graeme is responsible for strategy, development and management of the businesses and the people in it.
He has been with the company since 1989, starting as a Project Manager.
He became Engineering Director in 1992 and Managing Director in 1999. He has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Dundee University and previously worked with DSSR in Glasgow and Aggreko in Dumbarton.
Eric is responsible for Finance and Administration for the companies, the remit also covering HR, IT and compliance.
Eric joined the company in 1994 becoming Financial Director in September of the same year.
Eric has a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Glasgow University, gained before training with Ernst & Whinney.
Eric previously worked with Gallaher PLC as Commercial Manager for the Middle East before being posted to Madrid for three years as Divisional Director for Iberia.
Henry is responsible for all operational aspects of the companies and directly controls our team of Contract Managers and factory output.
Henry joined the company in 1989 and worked his way through the ranks, being appointed as a Director in 2003.
Henry controls all major projects undertaken by the company and has excellent knowledge of most pipework systems and materials.
Divisional Manager - Pump Division
David was appointed in 2009 as the Contracts Manager for the newly formed Pump Division, and promoted to Divisional Manager in 2016. He is responsible for the management of the division including sales, quotations, supply contracts, service and repairs.
He has a BSc(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Strathclyde University and previously worked with the Weir Group.
Divisional Director - Excel
John runs our subsidiary company, Excel Engineering Services, based in Whitburn, being responsible for all aspects of the company’s performance.
John joined JBD Tritec in 2007 as a Contracts Manager, and transferred to Excel in 2009 as Operations Manager, and was appointed Divisional Director in 2016.
He is a time served millwright having been trained at Yarrows and also worked as a multi-skilled technician with Chivas Brothers in Dumbarton.
Archie is responsible for fabrication and mechanical works and also supervises the contract labour hire side of our business.
Archie joined the company in 1991 working as a fabricator in the factory and also out on various sites, being promoted to Workshop Foreman in 1999.
In 2002, Archie was appointed as Fabrication Manager and quotes, quantifies and delivers all our steelwork fabrication orders.
Duncan is responsible for pricing works, purchasing materials, contract manning and job completion.
Duncan joined the company more than 30 years ago and has progressed from apprentice pipefitter, to chargehand and on to his current position as Pipework Manager some eight years ago. As such, Duncan has extensive pipework experience across various sectors including food and drink, petro chem and he is our expert on biogas installations.
Alan is responsible for pricing works, purchasing materials, contract manning and job completion.
Alan served his apprenticeship as a pipefitter in Yarrow shipbuilders from 1988 to 1991 before moving on to cover works in oil and gas, distillery, petro chem and pharmaceutical sectors, joining JBD Tritec in October 2004.
Alan moved through the ranks, soon becoming a chargehand and then moved in to management in 2009, his wide range of experience being an asset when looking at a variety of contracts.
Scott is responsible to the MD on all matters relating to Health & Safety and is responsible to the Operations Director for the proper running and enforcement of the Quality System.
Scott joined the company in 2006 to secure our accreditation and we now hold the three major standards applicable to our operations.
Scott studied at Falkirk College of Technology and also worked with EDC Pipework in Grangemouth.
He has an HNC in Quality Management, NEBOSH, is our manual handling trainer, tech IOSH, IOSH managing safely and also deals with our internal audit function.
Una is responsible for accounts processing, preparation and reporting and for the running of the admin function and staff.
She also controls IT performance. Una also oversees the running of our Whitburn site, liasing with personnel there and ensuring IT links function properly.
Una joined the company in 2008 and has a wide range of experience, from banking to the motor trade as well as plumbing / building and interior design.
